I had the pleasure of meeting and listening to Christine and Elliot yesterday at Hunter Mountain's Oktoberfest. What a nice surprise! They've got a great sound, great arrangements, with a nice relaxed feel topped with such pleasing vocals. An approachable sophistication for all to enjoy!

I was at the August 4th Branford Jazz Festival and heard you and your group...you all were GREAT! I especially loved your song "Seeing It As A Child." I bought both your CDs but I couldn't stay to have you autograph them for me. When I heard you and your group tonight I thought of this place called the Joyous Lake that was in Woodstock, NY and lo and behold, I see you are out of Tannersville, sort of right around the corner from Woodstock! We took the last leg of our summer vacation up in Kingston and ventured to the Last Chance Tavern to catch Christine and Elliot live... this was our destination and we were transported to a musical place beyond our dreams.
Rarely has such compositional, instrumental and vocal talent joined so perfectly, and defying categorization. Your original work is intensely inspiring and moving beyond words. Your covers, from Metheny to Steely Dan, are spot on, and your interpretations of Joni Mitchell and Laura Nyro sent chills up our spines. We have loved your music since first discovering My Spanish Dream online, but to experience your music first hand and meet the real genius in person has been one of the truly magical experiences of our lives.

Your set at Cachacas, in the Village, was off the chain as usual. Let me explain to anyone listening, I traveled into the 'City' from CT. just to catch this group and they 'NEVER' disappoint. The 'vibe' coming off the group will put a positive spin on a dreary day and make you whole again. If your tastes run in a contemporary vein and leans toward the latin / brazilian thide of sings, then by all means you owe it to yourself and all of your friends to give them a play.
